£3000 for a new driver in a medium to large vehicle who has no no claims bonus is like £750 for someone with a full no claims bonus. Additionally the ones that will insure you will be the more expensive companies anyway. I pay just under £ 200 a year for one of our cars , which you would know as a Tiburon, but i am over 45, live in a good area, have the car off road at night and have a full no claims record.
